The Helensburgh Scout and Guide Trust secured funding from the Outdoor Museum to install a plaque to mark the centenary of the opening of the Scout and Guide Halls on John Street Helensburgh.
The plaque designed by Tom Abernathy and fabricated by Drysdale Brothers Foundry, was unveiled on Saturday, November 1 by Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Dunbartonshire, Gill Aitkenhead.
The unveiling was attended by representatives from the various scout and guide groups as well as members of the public who braved the rain to celebrate the new addition to the Outdoor Museum.
