Lions Bus

Helensburgh Lions Club has been serving the local community for over 50 years. The first mini bus, purchased by the club in 1964, generously funded by local people, provided free transportation to the Vale of Leven Hospital, reducing travelling time for visitors from 2 hours 20 minutes to 1 hour. The continued support of local people has made this, and countless other projects, become a reality. Helensburgh Lions Club is the longest serving Club in Scotland – you will find a bench commemorating some of the members on the West Esplanade.
