This gold badge was awarded to local resident, Helen Colwell, after 21 years service to community nursing by Queen’s Nursing Institute of Scotland, for her work in the community district of Helensburgh.
The badge represents the dedication of all the community nurses in the area of Helensburgh. During training a community nurse is awarded bronze, after 10 years of service a silver badge, and for 21 years a gold badge.
